Dom copy is difficult to write, but hopefully these tips and tricks will help. Usually the person who attended the event should write the dom copy for the spread. Plan to get at least 4 different interviews from different people for the dom copy so that you have a selection. You can ask them all kind of the same questions and use whichever quotes work the best for what you are trying to say. I would always try to have someone who was participating in the event's comments, and the comments from someone who was not and their opinions on the matter. I think this is the best way to do it because you get to cover a lot of different people and the same people are not always together in the packages. Before writing the dom copy, plan out what you are going to write about and what angle you are writing from. Remember, you should always write about a story, and never just about an event. It should always be about people, not about something that simply just happened. The quotes should always be separate paragraphs when you write, and the names should always go after the quote for this.
