STEP 1
Click edit and then flow portraits in order to get the people portraits on the spread.
STEP 2
This is the first screen that pops up. Click add in order to add the different grade levels.
STEP 3
This is just an example for how the sophomore flow should look. The only difference is that for the missing portraits, YOU NEED TO CLICK NONE. You DO NOT want empty portraits flowed in with everyone else's picture. Instead, create a not pictured list by comparing a list of everyone in the grade (from the office) and the portraits that you have. Everyone that does not have a portrait needs to be on the not pictured list at the end of each grade.
STEP 4
Select which page you want the grade portraits to start on.
Step 5
This step is kind of trial and error to see what works for you and what fits for your book. However, make sure that you have freshmen, sophomores, and juniors all have the same. Senior portraits need to be different so all of the sizing will be different. The dimensions in the picture above WILL NOT WORK FOR EVERY BOOK. It is up to you do decide what the dimensions are. The most important part is to make sure that name order is ALWAYS first last and that the text position is to the side.
STEP 6
This part is also school specific. I would strongly suggest that you make a separate text style for underclassmen portraits and for senior portraits. Senior portrait names should be larger than underclassmen names. Make sure that the font is the same as the rest of the book.
STEP 7
During this step, make sure and select the new font display for the grade of the portraits you are work on (underclassmen or seniors).
STEP 8
During this step, you can select the margins of where the portraits are. You can select how far from the top, bottom, and side the portraits are. Make sure that the margins are the same for ALL GRADES.
STEP 9
On this step you can drag to delete portraits from an area for content coverage. There are multiple ways to do the coverage and where you want to put it does not matter, but just make sure that the content design is consistent throughout all of the people page spreads no matter the grade.
